It's all about YOU...

Last October, I started writing what I thought was going to be a short story. The initial poem for it came to me a year earlier, but I was writing They Call Me Angel at the time so I made my notes and left it...

Except it didn't leave me.

That's kind of how I choose a project—it is the voice that shouts the loudest when the previous story is written. Everyone else has to stay in a folder waiting for their turn. Usually impatiently, but that's where new ideas go when I am in the middle of a project.

So, back to You.

I had planned on making You a spooky(ish) season short story for the subscribers of my newsletter. I delivered the first part, then November was a non-writing month for one reason and another, and December made You into a novella.

I am really excited to share You's story—or possibly, more accurately, Cassie's story with You. Spanning over a decade, Cassie recounts key events from her childhood, many of which are dark and traumatic, but all of which are greatly assisted by the unknown, unseen presence of a creature called You.

If you like dark coming-of-age stories with a supernatural twist, I really hope you will check You out. The eBook is available for pre-order now. The paperback and eBook are available to read from the 28th March 2024.

Happy reading! :)

Although this is the fourth time I have published a novel I am no less excited about it. Unlike like The Minority Rule trilogy, They Call Me Angel is a standalone novel—and a paranormal mystery, not a
