BOOK TWO

BEYOND THE FENCE

Convicted by fertility.

Forgotten by society.

Only the repurposed have a life beyond the fence.

Lilith knew the rules. She knew the risks. She still believed love would be enough to save her.

She was wrong.

As a disobedient Three, Lilith is removed from society and sent beyond the fence to a remote breeding facility known only as the FARM—a place designed to extract every remaining ounce of value from the fertile before discarding them entirely.

There, women are monitored, tested, and educated by sentient androids called Shepherds, while the past is forbidden and the future tightly controlled. Stripped of choice and identity, Lilith must learn how to survive exile. She must navigate fragile new friendships, endure the watchful presence of increasingly unstable androids, and find a way to coexist with the very machines that oversee her captivity.

Because when her fertility runs out, her usefulness will end—and she will be repurposed once more, sent into the ruined world beyond the FARM to help rebuild what humanity destroyed. In a system that measures worth in biology and obedience, Lilith must decide whether meaning can still exist after everything she loved has been taken from her—or whether survival alone is the only rebellion left.

REVIEWS FOR
BEYOND THE FENCE

I dove into this one after the suspense of the finale for the first book. And I was immediately consumed by it. The cleverness of Alexia, knowing this was a trilogy, allowed her to completely shift gears and have the story take place in the FARM with previously only hinted at characters taking the lead, and new ones to boot.
