In terms of scale, this is true epic fantasy at its best. We have worlds divided and reunited, we have fated royals to unite the houses, we have a twist I didn’t see coming, and didn’t see how Niall could reconcile it without me being terribly upset.
There were no dull moments in this book. It zipped along, dragging me with it to an breathtaking ending.
Oh, that ending.
I wanted to learn how to read fifty pages simultaneously to absorb all of it in one go. A cataclysmic battle, love, hope, betrayal. I couldn’t read it fast enough.
